This garden design proposal is for a back garden for a property in Kintore, Aberdeenshire. The main aim for this garden was to create a space that has a cottage garden feel but also has contemporary elements. The clients wanted to have a garden that is not only simply and stylish but also to have a link to the interior of their home.

Design Proposal - Kintore

Rendered 3d visual showing the view towards the back of the garden from the front patio. We have used quite a linear, symmetrical design to give the garden a modern feel and then introduced traditional curved arches to soften the space.

Rendered master plan showing the overall design and layout with specifications of all materials.

For the planting scheme, we have used a colourful and traditional colour scheme with pinks, purples and whites. We have combined cottage-style plants like Blairii No.2 Climbing Rose with more structured plants like Daphne odora 'Aureomarginata' to create a unique and timeless planting scheme.

Rendered elevation showing the overall journey through the garden.

Planting plans detailing the location and quantities for each plant selected
